Designer. Creator. Always evolving.
I'm a Digital and Graphic Designer based in Edmonton.
How do I start this… hmm. I think I’ll start with the things I love.
I’m an optimistic person who enjoys simple things. I like mint chocolate and ice cream, and I enjoy listening to chill and acoustic music. When I was younger, I used to be a band vocalist. I also enjoyed performing in stage plays, playing soccer in high school, and being part of youth camps, especially during summer.
Creativity has always been part of who I am. I’ve always loved drawing, sketching, and painting, especially using colored pencils and blending colors together. I studied Fine Arts major in Advertising, where I learned how to express ideas visually.
I’ve been working as a graphic designer for almost 10 years, creating visuals and helping bring ideas to life. Over time, it helped me see design not just as something creative, but something that can communicate and connect with people.
I really love nature. I like the scent of trees, the feeling of being outside, and seeing flowers bloom. Spring is my favorite. I also find myself looking at the sky during sunrise or sunset, and it reminds me how beautiful everything is. These simple moments inspire me and often influence how I see colors, calmness, and simplicity in my work.
I enjoy being around people, hearing their stories, and learning from their experiences. At the same time, I also like quiet moments where I can just think and reflect. Both help me understand people better, and that’s something I try to bring into my design.
After working in graphic design for years, I decided to go back to school, which I honestly didn’t expect. Now, I’m studying Web Design and Development at NAIT through the DMIT program, and that’s where I started getting interested in UI and UX design. I’m learning that design is not just about how it looks, but also how it works and how people use it.
I enjoy creating, and I still get really excited when I see my work come to life. That feeling hasn’t changed.
I really believe in doing something you enjoy.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” — Confucius
For me, design feels like that. It doesn’t always feel like work. It feels like something I genuinely enjoy and want to keep growing in.
I’m also a mom, and my kids inspire me every day. They remind me to keep going, keep learning, and live life fully.
Right now, I’m focused on improving my skills and growing as a designer.
If my work or story resonates with you, feel free to reach out. I’d love to connect.
